Hope lives here because of your dedication and support.
Thank you to our participants, donors, sponsors, and volunteers, for taking action to end Duchenne muscular dystrophy by participating in the 2022 virtual Walk to Defeat Duchenne on Sunday, May 29, 2022.
While we each walked, ran, and rolled different distances in different communities, we were united by the important cause that brings us together: a future without Duchenne.
This year’s event saw 400 participants from across Canada and beyond (the largest number of participants in Walk history!), surpassing our goal of $215,000 – raising $224,198 (and counting)!
Your support of the Walk ensures vital work can continue to help stop this disease. Funds raised advance advocacy efforts, year-round educational programs, and scientific discoveries to better the quality and longevity of life for children and young adults living with Duchenne.
