Ensuring that eligible individuals can access AGAMREE® through provincial and territorial drug plans in a timely and equitable way is critical. The paper also highlights the importance of maintaining access to other treatment options, including deflazacort, and building a more coordinated approach to treatment access for DMD and other rare diseases.

This publication is an important contribution to the conversation about what Canadians living with DMD need today and how we can build a stronger, more accessible treatment landscape for the future. Our sincere thanks to the paper’s authors and all those working to advance treatment options for the DMD community.

For Defeat Duchenne Canada, access to treatment is a key priority. We will continue working with families, clinicians, researchers, governments, and other partners to support timely, equitable access to therapies and care for DMD.

Read the full paper

[72,78
153,85,84
post-19977","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-advocacy","category-ddc","tag-advocacy","tag-defeat-duchenne-canada","tag-vamorolone
["GET
