Duchenne Awareness Month

Duchenne is rare, but support doesn't have to be.

Whether you’re brand new to Defeat Duchenne Canada or a longtime member of our national family – together we can tell the story of Duchenne muscular dystrophy and raise awareness of the support available for all families coast-to-coast.

Some days it’s overwhelming, but we stay determined, stick together, and lead with hope. Because we know that change is possible – that all of the boys and young men we love are living longer, fuller lives than ever thanks to the positive progress with research, advocacy, and support for our families.

But we need more people to know – and share – our story. Because the more people who know about Duchenne and Defeat Duchenne Canada, the better chance we have for a cure.

This September, during Duchenne Awareness Month, you can support the movement to defeat Duchenne and ensure you stay connected with our community all year long.

Are you new to defeat duchenne Canada?

Defeat Duchenne Canada and the DMD community are here for you, offering support and working tirelessly to find a cure. And thanks to positive progress with research, advocacy, and support for our families, we know that change is possible.

Sign up for our email list today and hear more about how we can support you in your journey with Duchenne.

Are you a current supporter?
