Education & Support

Our vision is a future without Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Until we are able to create that future, our mission is to inform, uplift and unite families who are dealing with this devastating disease.

We work with researchers, clinicians, advocates and families to ensure we are able to share the most up-to-date information about this disorder and the steps being taken to treat and, eventually, cure its debilitating symptoms. We understand there is a lot of information contained on our website and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed when coping with the reality of a life-limiting disorder. However, our entire Defeat Duchenne Canada team is here for you. We want to cultivate a safe space for learning, discussion and connection between Duchenne families. Please reach out with any questions you may have and we will do our very best to get you the answers and support you are searching for.

Learn more about the programs, resources and services offered by Defeat Duchenne Canada, so you can become better equipped to achieve the best-possible outcomes and quality of life for your child and yourself.
