DMD in Adulthood: Navigating the Transition for Caregivers

Join us for an informative session with returning guest speakers Terrence and Torrance Ho. Terrence shares his personal journey in the caregiver role for his adult brother, Torrance, who is living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. As Torrance approached legal adulthood, Terrence ensured his brother received the necessary care and access to essential medical information. In this session, you are invited to chat with Terrence about the legal steps he needed to take to become Torrance’s caretaker, including strategies for maintaining access to medical resources and support services.

Whether you’re facing a similar transition or simply seeking guidance for the future, this event offers practical advice and firsthand experiences to help you navigate this critical stage with confidence and clarity. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights and connect with others in the Duchenne community as we explore the path forward together.
