It’s National Volunteer Week in Canada and we want to take a moment to thank all of the incredible volunteers who generously give their time to Defeat Duchenne Canada.
When John Davidson walked across Canada in 1998, volunteers played a crucial role in keeping him moving. From coast to coast, so many dedicated people took time away from work, school, and family to be part of this special journey.
20 years later, Defeat Duchenne Canada continues to rely on volunteers from coast to coast. From our board of directors and committees, to people who hold fundraising events, and those who help at the many Defeat Duchenne Canada events throughout the year, we would not be able to do what we do without you! You are key to the success of the Journey, and it is because of you that Defeat Duchenne Canada is able to grant more than $1 million per year to Duchenne research around the world.
Thank you to all of our dedicated volunteers!
