Defeat Duchenne Canada’s Family Forum is the country’s only national education program specifically designed for families living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Held during Duchenne Awareness Month in Ottawa, the forum invites families and caregivers to gather to learn more about the latest advancements in research, clinical trials, care, and advocacy from leading experts. Join us for a weekend full of education, inspiration, and hope.

We are thrilled to welcome our Keynote Speaker, Elijah J. Stacy. At just 23 years old, Elijah is an accomplished author, entrepreneur, investor, and public speaker. At the age of 15, he founded the nonprofit Destroy Duchenne, dedicated to advancing revolutionary medicines for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Elijah is determined to save his own life, his brothers’ lives, and the lives of thousands of people around the globe who have been diagnosed with Duchenne.
