Canadians Talk Duchenne – July

Starts July 27, 2022
7:00 PM
Event Type: Virtual
Event Category: Education & Support
Audience Type: Parent or Caregivers

Living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy can often feel isolating. That’s why Defeat Duchenne Canada has partnered with Duchenne Canadian Connection to create a sense of community by bringing families together from across the country to learn from one another and discuss current events that are relevant to our Duchenne community.

Whether you’re an old friend or new to Defeat Duchenne Canada, you won’t want to miss Canadians Talk Duchenne in July as we have a special summer guest – our Founder, John Davidson. John will join Co-Host Amy Cavalier from Duchenne Canadian Connection, a proud parent of Kaleb and Liam; both of her boys also have Duchenne. They will discuss their journey to diagnosis, opening up to family and friends, and how they’ve chosen to make a difference in the fight to end Duchenne.

John will also discuss his new family resource video that you can watch before the event here.

Each social will be live via Zoom at 7:00 PM ET. Canadians Talk Duchenne is a free event open on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 25 registrants. Once registered, you will receive an email with the Zoom details.
